Gonzaga University
The successful six-month market study of the Canadian provinces where Gonzaga University offers degrees resulted in a clear strategy for growth in the School of Education. With full faculty support, GU now has a roadmap to achieve its mission and goals for years to come. Research in the coming months will focus on opportunities for expansion in the western states area. Dr. Shirley Williams, Dean of the School of Education, remarked,
“The quality and comprehensiveness of this study was beyond expectations. Jean and her team not only examined environmental factors but spoke to hundreds of our students and alumni. They involved faculty and administrators in the process which led to a cohesiveness that is absolutely essential for effective planning for our School and faculty.”

Indiana Institute of Technology
Our relationship with Indiana Tech began in October 2001 and has included prospecting strategies, admissions training, coaching, call center enhancements, Web site development, and communication plans.

In September, 2002 Indiana Tech experienced a 24% increase in freshman enrollment.

"Vince, accolades to you for providing the ‘necessary edge’ that led to the largest freshman class in 33 years. It also developed the largest day enrollment in the same period of time and our head count, day and evening, was our largest ever. On the financial side, the FTE was also the largest ever. Again, congratulations to you for your fine careful leadership over this past year. I am looking forward to our 2002-2003 year!"
-Don Andorfer, President

Ross Medical Education Centers
Our work with Ross has included television production and placement, landing pages, direct mail, collateral materials, and admissions training. The success prompted Paul Mitchell, President and CEO to comment: “We are glad we made the switch from a big agency to Norton | Norris. We now feel we have a true business partner that understands our organization, is responsive to our needs, and has established and reinforced our brand with a fresh, integrated approach across all media. The increase in our number of leads speaks for itself.”

Kettering University
Our relationship with Kettering began in February 1999 when Norton Norris was retained to implement a call center as part of an overall intervention effort. Since then, our work has expanded to include admissions training, enrollment management consulting, coaching, a high school presentation, and collateral development.

"Thank you so much for spending two days training our enrollment management team. You helped create the energy and enthusiasm that we need.

Words could not express how much I appreciate the opportunity to work with you and to learn from you. I will always be grateful!"
-Barb Sosin, Director of Admissions

Howe Military Academy
Vince has been on campus numerous times at Howe Military Academy, in a variety of roles including Web site development, admissions and marketing strategy, telephone training, and admissions training. At the conclusion of one training visit "Your training was some of the best recruitment training I've ever had. You are a pro. Thanks."
-Dr. Brent Smith, Director of Admissions

Mystery Shopping Client (Identity Masked)
"Vince, I have just received the results of the mystery shopping exercise. I must say I am pleased with what I see. Now we need to seize this opportunity and implement the suggestions you propose. We learned a great deal from this exercise and now we need to capitalize."

The Refrigeration Institute
"Jean's seminar was profoundly moving. She motivates you to re-thinkwhat you thought you knew which makes you strive for excellence." Crystal

"Jean's approach to admissions training expands on the most basic components of a successful interview including the critical, fundamental communication skills necessary to succeed in any social or academic circumstance." Susan

I really enjoyed the seminar Jean gave to us Admissions
Representatives at RSI. You could tell that the information came from
facts and from the heart and it was not scripted. Jean also gave me a
lot of great ideas and new ways to sell the benefits of RSI. I also
enjoyed being challenged to think of new things or new ways to do my job. Thanks Jean I look forward to your next training session!

Clark University
"Just wanted to bring you up to speed on how I am doing with the new tools I learned during our two day training with you and Jean. First of all I came away refreshed and had a new direction on how to handle calls, and ask for appointments and enrollments. I can confidently say to you that my appointment and enrollment percentages are up.

Thank you for coming to Clark and giving me and my fellow counselors better ways to improve our conversion rates."
-Dick Halligan, Admissions Counselor

Tidewater Tech
"I just wanted to thank both you and Vince so much for your training the past two days. I have been to so many training seminars in the past five years and by far yours was the most interactive and personal. I feel it was such a great learning experience for myself but especially for my two fairly new reps that were there. Thanks again"
-Simone Tarnoff, Director of Admissions

Davenport University
As part of their efforts to revitalize the high school program and capture more of the traditional-age market, Davenport University contracted with Norton Norris to develop two comprehensive high school presentations, including a multimedia presentation, sell sheet, lead card, and classroom handout.
”Vince, I'm absolutely thrilled with the presentations you and your team developed. The sound bites are great... they add a lot to the presentations.

You can count on more business! Thanks for everything!"
-Lynda Cribari, Vice President for Admissions

Berkeley College
After creating a highly successful high school video and presentation in 2004, our creative team was tasked with the challenge of rolling out a new video in 2005. Although it’s been awhile, both Jean and Vince have presented to high schoolers and can actually remember what it’s like to hold the attention of a high school class while getting your points across and subtly infusing your college into the presentation. Carol Covino, Director of Outreach, was thrilled with the outcome: “Our presenters are in love with this year’s presentation! It was a real challenge to out-do ‘The Board Room’ presentation from last year, but the ‘The Interview’ video is even better. It really gets the students to think and the comments from the teachers have been excellent.”

Virginia College
After experiencing a decrease in leads, Virginia College in Austin, Texas engaged the Norton Norris team. Our first step was to take a collaborative approach and convene a series of discussion groups with students and staff. This enabled us to differentiate their program offerings and define their unique selling proposition in a crowded and highly competitive market. This has resulted in a 30% increase in lead flow over the previous year, prompting David Champlin, President of Virginia College at Austin, to remark: “The Norton Norris team has kept our creative fresh and taken our lead tracking to a new level. Now we can easily see when spots wear out and monitor the effectiveness of our television campaign.”

MTI College
We helped MTI College in Sacramento, California implement a dedicated outbound call center. President John Zimmerman comments: "Telemarketing has given us a much needed edge in re-working old leads and making our high school inquiries a priority. Kudos to Vince for helping us set this department up and hiring a strong manager to lead the call center team."

Robert Morris College
My staff really enjoyed the session, and we had a very meaningful discussion afterwards. They also would like a copy of the PowerPoint as a future reference.

University of St. Franics
Great webinar....and it was a great topic. Your enthusiasm on the topic is so refreshing too....this was one of the best webinars I have sat in on....interactive, fun, learned new things and brought groups together that normally would not be at the same "table." This profession/industry really is about learning from each other for the student's best interest.
- Andrea

Eagle Gate College
Loved the presentation! Please send a copy.
- Rich Horwitz, DOA

Virginia College Pensacola
I would like to thank all of you, especially Jean and Vince, for the phenomenal job the other day. It helps the admissions associates to hear the same thing over and over, but it really reinforces it coming from someone else as well. We appreciate what you all do! Have a great day.
